We currently have a very exciting opportunity available with our client for an HR Consultant (HR Operations Advisor 2) in Redmond, WA. This will be a fully remote role, and will begin as a 5-month contract with the possibility of extension on a quarterly basis up to 18 months.
Responsibilities:
- Provide HR consultation and guidance to managers and employees on performance management, workplace concerns, and HR policies.
- Coach managers through employee relations matters, performance conversations, and career development discussions.
- Manage and document HR cases, ensuring accuracy, timely follow-through, and proper case tracking.
- Support resolution of employee relations issues while maintaining professionalism, objectivity, and confidentiality.
- Partner with HR teams, Legal, and Compliance stakeholders to address complex workplace matters and ensure policy alignment.
- Identify trends in employee relations or recurring workplace issues and recommend process improvements or solutions.
- Use data and insights to support decision-making, training needs, and organizational effectiveness initiatives.
- Help design and improve scalable HR processes, workflows, and automated solutions to increase efficiency.
- Collaborate with HR Business Partners and cross-functional teams to support organizational and people priorities.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of HR resources, guidance materials, and operational processes.
Qualifications:
- 2–4 years of experience in HR, employee relations, HR consulting, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience supporting or advising managers on performance management processes and employee issues.
- Experience with case management, documentation, and maintaining accurate HR records.
- Working knowledge of HR policies, employee relations practices, and workplace compliance standards.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment, remain objective, and handle sensitive situations professionally.
- Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable working in a large, complex, or matrixed organization preferred.
- Familiarity with HR systems, data tracking, reporting, or workflow/process improvement initiatives preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and standard business tools.
Pay Range:
- Pay range for this position will be $27.13 to $32.13 per hour. Compensation will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This rate is subject to change.
