Storage Customer Service Representative

Pay: $20.00/hr.
Schedule: 30 hours a week
  • Thursday: 10:30am - 7pm
  • Friday: 8am - 7pm
  • Saturday: 9am - 4pm
  • Sunday: 11am - 4pm 
Contract: Temp to Hire

About the Employer-
A long-established Portland real estate company that owns and manages a large portfolio of apartments, commercial buildings, and storage facilities, handling everything from leasing to maintenance.
 

Position Summary-

We are looking for a professional, self-motivated, organized, customer service superstar, to join our storage team. Excellent communication skills, and a general knowledge of Windows based computers required. Property management or storage experienced is a plus, but we will train the right person.

Essential Job Duties-

  • Renting storage units: Assist customers in selecting the right unit size, explain pricing and policies, complete rental agreements, and process move-ins.
  • Processing payments: Handle rent payments, fees, and account updates accurately using the system; provide receipts and resolve billing questions.
  • Answering phones & general office work: Respond to customer inquiries, schedule appointments, manage emails, maintain records, and provide general administrative support.
  • Light maintenance: Perform basic upkeep such as cleaning units and office areas, reporting issues, and ensuring the property remains safe and presentable.

Requirements-

  • Must have a valid driver's license, and reliable transportation.
  • MS Office proficiency 
  • 1 + yr of customer service
