Job Description: Quality Control Inspector

Location: Waco, TX

Pay Rate: Starting at $16.00 per hour (with potential increase upon permanent hire)

Shift: 2nd Shift - 4 PM to 1 AM

Work Environment: Must be able to work in various weather conditions (heat, cold, etc.)

Position Overview: We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our team in Waco, TX. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in a quality-related role and must be proficient in reading a tape measure. This role is critical to ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct inspections of products at various stages of the production process to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
Utilize measuring tools, including tape measures, to verify product dimensions and specifications.
Document inspection results and communicate findings to production and quality teams.
Identify and report any defects or non-conformances, and assist in determining corrective actions.
Work collaboratively with production staff to ensure quality assurance throughout the manufacturing process.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety protocols and procedures.
Perform other quality-related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

Minimum of one year of experience in a quality-related role.
Proficient in reading and interpreting tape measures and other measuring tools.
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects and non-conformances.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Must be able to work an 8-hour shift with overtime as needed.
Ability to work in various weather conditions, including heat and cold.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the manufacturing facility for the duration of the shift.
Ability to lift and carry materials up to 50 lbs as needed.
Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for operating measuring tools and equipment.
