International Tax Senior Manager
This role will report to the Senior Director, International Tax, and will manage US international tax compliance & planning, the foreign tax provision, and review the transfer pricing calculation. The ideal candidate will have strong technical and analytical skills, strong organizational and communication skills, and be detail-oriented and hands-on.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the quarterly and annual foreign entities tax provision in accordance with ASC 740, including current and deferred provision calculations, return-to-provision true up, reconciliation of tax accounts, FIN 48 analysis, etc.
- Oversee various US international tax compliance (e.g., Form 5471s, E&P, Subpart F, GILTI, BEAT, FTC, FDII, etc.)
- Review quarterly and annual tax forecasts for GAAP and Non-GAAP, including Transfer Pricing calculations for Intercompany purchase COGS, Limited Risk Distributor profit, and cost plus, etc.
- Monitor U.S. international tax legislative developments and assess potential impacts on the company; model tax consequences of proposed changes, including evaluating potential benefits of onshoring U.S. manufacturing and other tax planning strategies
- Research complex tax issues and prepare technical documentation
- Review and guide the work performed by a full-time International Tax Manager, including offering technical feedback, reviewing deliverables, and ensuring high-quality execution of international tax workstreams
- Build collaborative working relationships with Accounting, FP&A, Treasury and Legal groups and gather appropriate data
- Support 404 internal control testing and maintain SOX documentation and processes related to international taxation
- Assist in planning and implementing cross-border M&A and post-acquisition integrations, including analyzing overall tax consequences on various business acquisitions as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (MST or CPA a plus)
- 10+ years of relevant international tax experience in Big 4 public accounting firms and multinational corporations in the high-tech industry
- Hands-on experience in the calculation of quarterly and annual foreign tax provisions with a working knowledge of international tax matters
- Advanced Excel required, with experience in NetSuite, SAP, or Alteryx a plus
- Strong project management and organization skills and must be able to multi-task
- Team oriented, self-motivated, and willing to take ownership of projects
- Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with all levels of personnel, across functions, organizations, and with external contacts
Compensation: $105 - $140.84 per hour
