Production Quality Technician for a Manufacturing Company-Swing shift- Monday to Friday 3pm to 11:30PM

Reno Staffing is looking for a Quality Control Technician for a Manufacturing Company in the Spanish Springs area!

Shift: Monday to Friday, 3:00pm to 11:30pm
Pay: $21+ DOE
Location: Spanish Springs 89441(not on a bus route)

Summary:
The Quality Control Associate will support and contribute by playing a key role in Quality Assurance in the RMA and Refurbishment activities in the lab.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Reno Staffing is looking for a couple Quality Control Associates for a notorious Solar Technology Manufacturing Company in the Spanish Springs area!

Inspect the quality of parts with micrometers, calipers, and tape measures.
Able to read blueprints.
Ensure all production goals are consistently met.
At the discretion of your lead or supervisor, you could be required to perform additional job related activities not specifically outlined above.
Perform inspections throughout all phases of assembly to ensure quality standards.
Record and document inspection results and compare to expected results.
Detect and record quality failures so that defects may be corrected.
Work with Quality Lead or Manager to develop non-conformance remediation plans.
Assist in preparing quality reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data.
Arrival to work prepared to work and dressed appropriately.
Maintain a positive attentive attitude towards all co-workers and construction teams at all times.
Maintains organized tool kits; reports any lost or damaged tools immediately.
Check email daily and respond in a timely manner
Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
Work independently as well as a member of the team.

Competency:
To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:

High school diploma

Minimum of 2+ years of experience as QC associate required.
Knowledge of proper lab practices and safety.
Experience with Electrical, Electronic, or Mechanical assembly and QA process.
Utilize small tools to perform assemblies.
Should have the basic knowledge of using a PC. And enter production data into computer.
Willingness to learn systems, processes, and procedures.
Knowledge of machines, tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
Should have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 – 75 pounds occasionally.
Ability to stand, bend, and stoop for long periods of time
Willingness to learn new skills.
Be punctual and have great attendance.
