Landfill General Labor

Location: Menominee, MI
Schedule: 1st shift - 7:15am to 3:45pm
Pay Rate: $20.00/hour

Position Overview:

We are seeking reliable Laborers to support litter control operations at a landfill facility. This role involves picking up litter and debris throughout the landfill property to maintain a clean, safe, and compliant environment.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Collect litter and debris across landfill grounds.
Maintain cleanliness of work areas in accordance with site standards.
Follow all safety rules and landfill procedures.
Wear always required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Perform other general labor duties as assigned by site supervision.

Qualifications:

Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods.
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
Ability to follow safety instructions and site rules.
Prior outdoor or labor experience preferred but not required.

Work Environment:

Outdoor landfill environment.
Exposure to weather conditions, dirt, odors, and uneven terrain.
Noise and heavy equipment are present on site.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. as needed.
