Laser Operator

Join a growing metal manufacturing team as a laser operator! This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled individual with laser machine setup experience, especially with Mazak or fiber lasers. Location: Maple Lake, MN

Wage: $23 – $28/hr. (higher pay possible with exact machine experience and flexible availability)

Hours:

1st Shift: Monday – Thursday, 6:00 am – 4:30 pm (Friday OT as needed)
2nd Shift: Monday – Thursday, 4:30 pm – 3:00 am (Friday OT as needed)

Duties of the laser operator:

 Configure and operate Mazak laser cutting equipment
 Manage automated material handling systems for efficient loading/unloading
 Transport sheet metal stock using a forklift
 Ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance of laser machines and workstations

Requirements of the laser operator:

2+ years of laser setup experience (fiber laser preferred)
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Able to lift 50+ lbs
Experience with ProNest or other nesting software is a plus
