Tool Room Grinder Technician

Join our team as a tool room grinder technician and work in a cutting-edge production environment where precision and quality take center stage. In this role, you'll be involved in specialized processes and operate advanced equipment in a clean, organized shop that values long-term customer relationships and continuous learning.

Location: Shoreview, MN

Wage: $24 - $35/hr., depending on experience

Hours:

1st Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:30 am – 3:30 pm
2nd Shift: Monday – Friday, 2 pm – 10:30 pm

Duties of the tool room grinder technician:

Operate and maintain grinding equipment, including OD, ID, Centerless, and Blanchard Grinders.
Perform precise grinding and lapping processes to meet detailed specifications.
Inspect and measure products to ensure quality standards are met.
Record and maintain production logs and address deviations.
Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to ensure production efficiency.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean workspace.

Requirements of the tool room grinder technician:

Experience with grinding or lapping processes in manufacturing (preferred).
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
Ability to follow instructions and maintain accurate records.
Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
ITAR compliance: Must be a U.S. person under ITAR regulations.
Experience as an OD, ID, Centerless, or Blanchard Grinder is helpful
