Waterjet Operator 2nd Shift

Location: Fridley, MN

Wage: $22/hr.

Hours: 2nd Shift – Monday - Thursday, 2:25 pm – 1:00 am

What you’ll do as a waterjet machine operator:

Set up, program, and operate a high-pressure waterjet with accuracy and care
Read and interpret part drawings and work orders to meet exact specifications
Perform quality checks using micrometers, calipers, and other tools
Troubleshoot machine issues and recommend solutions
Safely operate forklifts and cranes (certification provided if needed)
Complete additional operations like drilling, tapping, and deburring
Keep detailed inspection reports and production paperwork
Maintain a clean and efficient work area

What we’re looking for:

Previous experience in metal fabrication or machining
Solid shop math and mechanical reasoning skills
Experience using hand tools, calipers, and micrometers
Ability to read blueprints (bonus points!)
Able to lift/push/pull 50+ lbs.
Comfortable standing and bending for 10-hour shifts
Clear verbal and written communication skills in English
