Warehouse Associate- Early morning shift

The Warehouse Associate has a key role in ensuring that products are received, verified, stored, and transported to the sales floor or in the warehouse in a safe and efficient manner. This role involves constant handling of merchandise that varies in weight from light to heavy throughout the shift.

Payrate- $18.40

Time- 5.45am-3.45pm (4 day work week)

Location- Airport Road, Brampton

Responsibilities:

Receive, scan, verify and store all incoming products.
Store overstock.
Lifting 50 lbs
load and unload trailers
Ship returns, process damaged claims and complete paperwork.
Ensure inventory accuracy.
Dispose garbage and cardboard.
Operate all warehouse equipment safely.
Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations.

Requirements / Skills

Ability to handle physical demands including standing/walking for 10 hours while frequently lifting and carrying items, using a ladder, twisting, turning and reaching

Ability to work shifts (days)
Strong computer skills
Ability to find solutions to problems, adapt and cope with challenging situations and make decisions
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to multitask
Certification in forklift (asset)
