We are hiring General Labour associates for our client based in Milton, Ontario.

 

Pay Rate: $17.60 per hour, weekly pay, every Friday! (only SIN no Cash)

Shift: Day Shift - Monday to Friday | 7:00 am – 3:00 pm

 

Job responsibilities:

 

· Unpacks products from cardboard boxes (e.g. chocolate, coffee, bar soap, laundry soap, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, clothing, shoes etc.).

· Performs hand assembly functions on an assembly line by unpacking and repacking products into boxes or displays.

· Transport raw materials finished products and equipment throughout plant manually or using powered equipment.

· Make boxes and displays, apply stickers/labels to the product as they move along conveyor belt.

· May be required use a glue gun/stick to close/seal repackaged boxes.

· May use a handheld heat gun to remove wrinkles from shrink wrapped product.

· May be required to pack pallets with finished products.

· As directed, cleans up work area at the end of the shift.

· Other duties as required.

 

Education & Experience

 

· High School Diploma or Equivalent

· Basic understanding of reading, and writing, English.

 

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

 

· Primarily works in a factory and/or warehouse setting

· Lifting up to 50lbs on a regular basis

· Standing for long periods of time

· Stooping, walking, and lifting on a regular basis

· CSA approved steel toe shoes

· Must be able to pass Canadian criminal background check
