Job Type: Temp-to-Hire, 12-Month Full-Time Position
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM
Salary: $15.25–$16.25/hour based on experience

We’re hiring a dependable, detail-oriented Custodian to support two local schools by keeping learning environments clean, secure and ready for students each day. You’ll play a key behind-the-scenes role in making sure everything shines and that the building is safe and set up for the next school day or evening event.

What You’ll Do:

Daily Cleaning Duties:

Sweep, vacuum, dust and mop classroom and hallway floors
Clean restrooms, whiteboards and empty pencil sharpeners and trash bins
Restock paper products and cleaning supplies

Building & Event Support:

Unlock buildings for after-school events, meetings and sports
Secure and lock up the building at the end of each shift

Physical Maintenance:

Support basic maintenance and report any safety issues
Use ladders, clean high surfaces and handle lifting up to 50 pounds

What We’re Looking For:

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required
Neat personal appearance and good hygiene expected

Preferred Experience:

2 years of custodial or janitorial experience is helpful but not required

Physical Requirements:

Able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crawl and reach overhead
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
