Summary:
The Production Assembler is responsible for assembling products and components according to company specifications, quality standards, and production schedules. This role requires attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assemble wood and composite materials into doors, moldings, or window components using hand and power tools.
  2. Follow blueprints, diagrams, and verbal instructions to ensure accurate assembly.
  3. Operate machinery such as saws, nail guns, or presses safely and efficiently.
  4. Inspect and test completed parts for quality, making adjustments as needed.
  5. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
  6. Meet or exceed daily production targets.
  7. Collaborate with team members and report issues to supervisors promptly.
  8. Comply with company safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
Qualifications:
  1. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  2. Prior experience in manufacturing or woodworking is a plus.
  3. Ability to read measuring tools (e.g., tape measure, calipers).
  4. Strong attention to detail and manual coordination.
  5. Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
  6. Willingness to work flexible hours or shifts if needed.
Preferred Skills:
  1. Forklift or pallet jack certification.
  2. Familiarity with lean manufacturing or 5S principles.
