Welder Summary
Welds and assembles metal components by using various types of welding equipment and techniques to fit the application.

Welder Responsibilities

Weld materials such as steel and aluminum
Responsible for Join beams in the construction of structures, bus duct, and others according to provided drawing
Determine welding position and type of metal to be fused ensuring welds meet standards and specifications
Dimensionally lay out beam or channel by using a variety of methods
Follow detailed instructions, processes and procedures
Follow documented policies and procedures as designated by the company’s Quality System.
Comply with all company safety and security policies including use of PPE.
Performs other duties as assigned
Work overtime as required

Welder Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
Relevant work experience including 2 years of previous welding experience
AWS certification
