Location: Sand Springs
Industrial Painter/Sandblaster Pay Rate and Hours:
- Monday – Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Occasional evening and weekend work may be required based on production needs.
Industrial Painter/Sandblaster Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Blast steel parts before and after fabrication using air-powered sandblasting equipment.
- Mix paint according to the manufacturer's instructions.
- Apply industrial coatings using conventional, airless, and plural spray systems.
- Operate blast pots, spray guns, and other equipment used in painting and sandblasting processes.
- Clean and prepare surfaces for coating applications.
- Disassemble, clean, and maintain paint and sandblasting equipment.
- Measure surface profile using a mill gauge and ensure required specifications are met.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and/or blueprints as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety policies.
- Stay on schedule and follow company processes and procedures.
- Safely operate a forklift and overhead crane.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Industrial Painter/Sandblaster Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial painting and/or coatings, with progressive responsibilities preferred.
- Proven ability to use conventional and airless spray guns and sandblasting equipment.
- Working knowledge of different industrial paints and application techniques.
- Familiarity with coating standards and the ability to measure paint thickness.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Forklift and crane operation experience is preferred.
- Must be able to work in a non-temperature-controlled environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
