We are currently hiring for a Fire Sprinkler Inspector opportunity with a growing organization in the fire protection and life safety industry. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in fire sprinkler inspections, testing, maintenance, or service who is looking to join a stable and growing team.
Position Overview
The Fire Sprinkler Inspector will be responsible for performing inspections, testing, preventative maintenance, and service on a variety of fire suppression systems including wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, foam, clean agent, and special hazard systems. This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections, testing, maintenance, and service on fire sprinkler and suppression systems
- Inspect wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, foam, clean agent, and special hazard systems
- Identify and troubleshoot system deficiencies and recommend corrective actions
- Ensure all work complies with applicable NFPA codes and safety regulations
- Communicate with customers regarding system functionality, findings, and recommendations
- Complete required inspection reports, service documentation, and compliance paperwork
- Manage schedules and job progress efficiently while maintaining high-quality service standards
- Maintain company tools, vehicles, and equipment in proper working condition
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Prior experience inspecting, testing, or servicing fire sprinkler systems preferred
- Knowledge of NFPA codes and fire/life safety regulations
- NICET Level I certification or higher is a plus
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities in the field
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Comfortable working in commercial, industrial, and outdoor environments
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work at heights for extended periods
- Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, lifts, and safety equipment
