Position Overview

The Sprinkler Helper Technician will assist lead technicians with the installation, inspection, testing, and servicing of fire sprinkler systems across a variety of job sites. This is a great entry point for candidates who are mechanically inclined, eager to learn, and ready to grow within a stable and essential industry.

Key Responsibilities

Assist lead technicians with installation and assembly of fire sprinkler systems
Support inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance in accordance with NFPA 13 and NFPA 25
Help with pipe fitting, hangers, and sprinkler head installation as directed
Assist with threading, cutting, and grooving pipe under supervision
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment on all job sites
Assist with accurate documentation of service records and inspection reports
Follow all safety procedures and comply with applicable codes and AHJ requirements
Represent yourself and Fuze HR Solutions professionally on every job site

Qualifications

1+ years of experience in fire sprinkler, plumbing, pipefitting, or related field preferred
Basic understanding of fire sprinkler systems and components a plus
Willingness to learn and grow within the fire protection industry
Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and drawings preferred
Strong work ethic and attention to detail
Good communication and teamwork skills
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
Comfortable standing, walking, climbing ladders, and working in industrial environments
Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces when necessary
