Pat Rate: $18-25+/hr based on experience
Hours: 7am-3:30pm Mon-Fri, occasional OT
Direct Hire, Full-Time Position
 
Summary:
Company is an electronic manufacturing service provider of cables, harnesses and printed circuit boards. We are looking for an experienced Wire Harness Assembler to support our team.  A successful candidate will perform a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on wire harness assemblies. They must have the ability to work from diagrams/drawings, make initial layouts, assembly boards, and use hand and power tools. 
 
Responsibilities:
Support prototype development and production hand-off activities on new harness assemblies.
Develop processing, assembly, and test documentation for wire harness assemblies.
Perform soldering and crimping with a variety of methods.
Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test production or prototype assemblies and sub-assemblies according to specifications.
Build in accordance with IPC620 quality standards.
Troubleshooting of process parameters to improve yield.
 
Skills
High attention to detail.
Able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Experience working with hand tools used in the assembly of cables and sub-assemblies a plus.
Comprehend assembly parts lists, assembly drawings and related reference documentation.
 
Experience
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience building complex wire harness assemblies. 
Extensive computer experience, especially Microsoft Office products.
 
Knowledge/Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
IPC620 certification is a plus.
