A local manufacturing plant located in Springfield MO is needing assistance with weekend manufacturing support. 

The Warehouse Assistant is responsible for understanding and effectively demonstrating the ability to execute the proper storage of materials, material movement and housekeeping. 

Responsibilities Include:

Remove trash, recyclables, deficient materials and broken pallets out of the warehouse.

Perform housekeeping as per the Master Sanitation Schedule.

Address radio or email requests in a timely manner. 

Operate all heavy equipment.

Adhere to all operating procedures.

Perform daily and weekly inventory counts.

Load and offload trailers.

Perform put-away using a handheld device.

Secure third and four lever tier pallets by re-wrapping or transferring to lower tier.

Safely store and handle hazardous materials according to OSHA guidelines and procedures. 

Inspect and flush the emergency shower and eye station weekly.

Minimum qualifications to apply include a minimum of 2 years consistent employment history in a manufacturing role, fork-lift and pallet jack experience, a clean background of no less than 7 years, a completely clean drug screen, and a valid driver's license.
