Title: Manufacturing Lead
Shift: 1st Shift  Mon-Fri
Location: West Columbia, SC 29170

Job Duties:
  • Act as the first point of escalation for team of assemblers on the manufacturing floor.
  • Monitor and support the entire assembly process, quickly identifying and diagnosing issues as they arise.
  • Collaborate with Quality, Test, and Materials departments to investigate and resolve production issues.
  • Initiate corrective actions when assembly-related problems occur.
  • Train and mentor assemblers, ensuring adherence to processes and quality standards.
  • Provide performance-related feedback to Assembly Supervisors as needed.
  • Partner closely with engineering and production management teams to ensure alignment on technical and operational objectives.
  • Maintain open and effective communication across departments and shifts.

Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of relevant manufacturing experience with an Associate’s degree in a technical discipline OR 5+ years of relevant hands-on manufacturing experience
  • Deep understanding of assembly line processes and issue troubleshooting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; must be comfortable leading discussions on the floor and working across departments.
  • Experience in a high-mix, low-volume or high-volume production environment is a plus.
  • Prior experience in roles such as Junior Manufacturing Engineer, Industrial Engineering Tech, Assembly/Production Lead, or Cell Leader is highly preferred.
