Title: Manufacturing Lead

Shift: 1st Shift Mon-Fri

Location: West Columbia, SC 29170

Job Duties:

Act as the first point of escalation for team of assemblers on the manufacturing floor.
Monitor and support the entire assembly process, quickly identifying and diagnosing issues as they arise.
Collaborate with Quality, Test, and Materials departments to investigate and resolve production issues.
Initiate corrective actions when assembly-related problems occur.
Train and mentor assemblers, ensuring adherence to processes and quality standards.
Provide performance-related feedback to Assembly Supervisors as needed.
Partner closely with engineering and production management teams to ensure alignment on technical and operational objectives.
Maintain open and effective communication across departments and shifts.

Qualifications:

2+ years of relevant manufacturing experience with an Associate’s degree in a technical discipline OR 5+ years of relevant hands-on manufacturing experience
Deep understanding of assembly line processes and issue troubleshooting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills; must be comfortable leading discussions on the floor and working across departments.
Experience in a high-mix, low-volume or high-volume production environment is a plus.
Prior experience in roles such as Junior Manufacturing Engineer, Industrial Engineering Tech, Assembly/Production Lead, or Cell Leader is highly preferred.
