OVERVIEW

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Read and follow production drawings, work orders, and assembly instructions
- Install and align electronic components on circuit boards and in assemblies
- Perform various joining operations (crimping, soldering, welding, riveting)
- Mount components and subassemblies into racks, cases, and cabinets
- Conduct quality inspections and testing of assembled products
- Execute intermediate assembly tasks (potting, cleaning, epoxy bonding)
- Set up workstations with correct documentation and components
- Perform basic repairs and maintenance
- Document and communicate process issues
- Collect and record quality control data
- Assist in training new operators (higher grades)
REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1-7 years of electronics assembly experience (varies by grade level)
- Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Ability to read and follow technical instructions
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to use microscopes for extended periods
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs (50 lbs for systems work)
- Able to push racks up to 200 lbs
- Extended periods of sitting and precise hand movements
- Color vision and close-up visual acuity required
Work Environment:
- Regular exposure to repetitive motion work
- Possible exposure to chemicals
- Clean room/manufacturing floor setting
