A global leader in advanced manufacturing is seeking a Principal Process Engineer – Injection Molding to join their high-performing team in Libertyville, IL. This engineer will lead process development, support daily production, and drive improvements across thermoplastic injection molding operations.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and validate molding processes (IQ, OQ, PQ) for production
- Troubleshoot production issues and identify root causes
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives related to cost, quality, and efficiency
- Define process parameters and implement process controls
- Oversee the installation and validation of new equipment
- Train production teams and support technology transfers
What We’re Looking For:
- 10–15 years of experience in injection molding, tooling, and process development
- Experience with scientific molding (RJG / E-Dart preferred)
- Familiarity with cleanroom environments (Class 7 or 8)
- Skilled in data/statistical analysis using Excel, Minitab, or similar tools
- Degree or equivalent experience in plastics or injection molding engineering
