Dental Assistant

Experienced Dental Assistant (Temp-to-Hire)
Schedule: Monday – Thursday | 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay: $16–$18/hour (DOE)

We are seeking a dependable and experienced Dental Assistant for a temp-to-hire opportunity with a well-established practice. This role requires a strong background in chairside assisting and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide chairside assistance during a variety of dental procedures
Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms
Take and develop dental X-rays (as permitted by certification)
Assist with patient intake, charting, and documentation
Ensure patient comfort and maintain a professional, welcoming environment
Follow strict infection control and safety protocols
Support front office tasks as needed

Qualifications

Minimum 3.5 years of recent chairside dental assisting experience
Completion of an accredited Dental Assistant program
Certification required (CDA or equivalent preferred)
Strong knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and sterilization standards
Proven track record of reliability and dependability
Excellent communication and patient care skills
Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment
