Position Summary
The Repair Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and testing electronic test and measurement equipment to ensure products meet the company’s quality and performance standards. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a customer‑focused mindset.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electronic test and measurement equipment at the component and system level
- Utilize electronic test equipment including digital volt meters (DVMs), oscilloscopes, power supplies, and computer‑based test programs
- Read, interpret, and work from electronic schematics, drawings, and technical documentation
- Perform functional testing and calibration in accordance with quality and safety standards
- Document repairs, test results, and corrective actions accurately
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and customer service teams as needed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Provide professional, customer‑focused support when interacting with internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience repairing electronic equipment in a manufacturing, service, or technical environment
- Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Electronics Technology or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Hands‑on experience with digital and analog circuitry
- Strong understanding of electronic schematics and troubleshooting methodologies
- Knowledge of metrology and calibration operations is a plus
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills; fluency in English required
- Demonstrated customer service skills and professionalism
- Ability to lift and handle up to 40 pounds unassisted
