ComResource is looking for a Microsoft Azure Administrator to manage and maintain cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

Azure Infrastructure Management

• Configure, monitor, and manage Azure services, including virtual machines, storage accounts, and networks.
• Optimize Azure resources for cost efficiency and performance.
• Implement and manage Azure virtual networking, including VPNs, NSGs, and load balancers.

Security and Compliance

• Implement security policies and access controls for Azure resources.
• Monitor and mitigate security threats using Azure Security Center (Perview), Azure Sentinel, and related tools.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and organizational standards.

Backup and Disaster Recovery

• Design and manage Azure Backup and Azure Site Recovery solutions.
• Develop and test disaster recovery plans for critical systems.

Monitoring and Troubleshooting

• Monitor resource utilization and performance using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Azure services.

Deployment and Automation

• Use Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, PowerShell, or Bicep to automate deployments and resource configurations.
• Collaborate with development teams to deploy and manage CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.

Collaboration and Support

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to design and deploy cloud-based solutions.
• Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams on Azure-related queries.
• Address issues reported via problem management systems according to company SLAs.

Qualifications:

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as a Microsoft Azure Administrator or in a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of Azure services, including VMs, storage, networking, and security.
• Experience with Azure AD, Azure Policy, and governance best practices.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell, CLI, or other relevant tools.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Preferred

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or higher certification.
• Familiarity with hybrid cloud environments and integrations.
• Understanding of DevOps principles and experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
