
Material Handler Responsibilities:
• Report to work 5 minutes before the 7:00 clock start.
• Use a manual pallet jack to move material from the inbound area to the work area and move material to outbound area when work is completed.
• Remove boxes from pallets and set them in designated work area.
• Unbox finish goods and setup for techs.
• Re-box units when tech has completed work.
• Re-palletize units and move the material to outbound area.
• Use a tape gun to reseal boxes.
• Use a scan gun to scan barcodes receiving units into our shop floor system and to print labels.
• Apply labels.
• Be able to lift 30 lbs repeatedly.
• Be able to pick up greater than 30lbs with a coworker repeatedly.
• Back belts are available for use.
• Lifting is ¼ of total work hours, unboxing and re-boxing is ½ total hours, ¼ of total work hours are other non-lifting duties such as moving pallets from inbound to work areas, moving pallets from work area to outbound and idle time.
Material Handler Knowledge & Experience:
• Must have steel-toe shoes
• Utility knife
• Safety jacket will be provided on site
Pay Rate & Schedule:
• $11.25/hour
• 7:00 am – 4:00 pm
