Housing Case Manager III

Medical Temporaries, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced ***Housing Case Manager***.

Minimum of 2 years of experience required in Human Services

This is a FULL TIME/LONG TERM TEMP position requiring availability between the hours of 8:30AM-5PM, Monday through Friday, located in Norfolk, VA (23503).

Responsibilities:

A Day in the life of a Housing Case Manager:

As a Housing Case Manger you will provide comprehensive services to persons experiencing homelessness with behavioral health disorders. Works within a team environment to assist persons served by the team to acquire housing. Provides relationship development for landlord recruitment. Provides assistance to consumers in the housing application process and for training and support to ensure housing stabilization.

Requirements for the Case Manager III:

Required: 2+ years experience required in Human Services Case Management
Required: Bachelor's Degree in a human services field
Required: BLS, acceptable driving record and valid driver's license
Required: Direct experience assisting persons in gaining housing
Required: Ability to pass Background Check and Drug Screen
Required: Must be reliable and a quick learner and have ability to multi-task with accuracy in a very busy environment
Required: Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications for the Housing Case Manager:

Preferred: Mental Health experience
Preferred: Direct experience working with the homeless population
Preferred: Experience working with landlords
