Job Overview: Audiovisual Technician:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Audiovisual Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting a wide range of audiovisual systems across various settings. Your expertise will ensure seamless operation of conference rooms, event spaces, and other multimedia environments, supporting effective communication and presentation needs. Responsibilities: Audiovisual Technician:

Install, configure, and calibrate audiovisual equipment including projectors, sound systems, video conferencing tools, and control systems in diverse environments.
Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal performance of all AV hardware and software components.
Troubleshoot technical issues related to software, hardware, cabling, and telecommunication systems promptly to minimize downtime.
Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to accurately install and repair AV systems.
Manage cabling infrastructure using hand tools and mechanical knowledge to ensure safety and compliance with electrical standards.
Collaborate with clients and team members to assess audiovisual requirements for events or installations.
Perform field service tasks involving low voltage wiring, electrical connections, and system upgrades while adhering to safety protocols.
Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, repairs, and maintenance activities for future reference.

Experience: Audiovisual Technician:

Proven experience working as an Audiovisual Technician or in a similar field service role involving AV systems installation and troubleshooting.
Strong electrical experience with knowledge of E & I (Electrical & Instrumentation) principles and low voltage cabling techniques.
Familiarity with telecommunication systems, computer hardware components, and software troubleshooting processes.
Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings accurately.
Hands-on experience with hand tools used in electrical and mechanical installations.
Knowledge of maintenance procedures for audiovisual equipment as well as general electrical safety standards.
Demonstrated ability to work independently in the field while managing multiple projects efficiently.
