Drupal Developer

Our non-profit client located in Chicago, IL, has an immediate contract opportunity for a Drupal Developer with Sanity experience. This is a 6+ month contract with possible extensions and/or conversion to permanent.

HIGH LEVEL OVERVIEW:

Looking for a skilled Drupal developer with Sanity experience who specializes in building websites and applications using Drupal's content management capabilities and integrating it with Sanity, for content delivery.

What you’ll need:

Proficient in Drupal's core functionalities, including module development, theme development, and database management.
Experienced in building user interfaces using Drupal's theming system and potentially modern front-end frameworks like React or Angular in a decoupled or headless setup.
Skilled in creating and managing content types, fields, and relationships within Drupal.
Familiar with integrating Drupal with external services and APIs, including those offered by Sanity.
Understanding of Drupal's performance best practices and the ability to optimize website speed and scalability.
Ability to design and implement content structures within Sanity that align with the needs of the Drupal website or application.
Experience in customizing Sanity's editing interface (Sanity Studio) to provide a tailored content authoring experience.
Knowledge of how to fetch and use content from Sanity within Drupal using its GraphQL or REST API.
Understanding of Sanity's real-time collaboration features and how to integrate them with Drupal's workflow.
Experience working with headless CMS architectures, where the content is managed in a separate system (like Sanity) and delivered to different platforms via APIs.

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $45.00 per hour - $50.00 per hour (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
