Laboratory Technician

We are hiring a Laboratory Technician for a full-time, 3-month contract in Chatham, with potential for renewal

$32.50/hour
Tuesday to Saturday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
supports daily operations within an R&D lab

Key Responsibilities

Support day-to-day lab operations, including equipment maintenance, inventory monitoring, and general housekeeping
Assist with sample preparation, labelling, and organizing materials for testing
Perform basic lab analyses, including GC, starch, and other routine testing
Follow all health & safety policies and lab procedures

Qualifications

Post-secondary education in a related field
1–2 years of lab experience
Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple tasks
Experience with GC/LC or in an R&D environment is an asset
