Job Description

As a Chemical Machine Operator you will be operating high tech equipment to produce textile reinforcements for composite fibers

Responsibilities:

Machine setup according to specified production instructions, using a given set of fiber glass and other raw materials.
Preparation of resin mixes and foils in accordance to production instructions
Independent assurance of quality requirements, before, during and after a production run
Careful observation of the running production to detect malfunctions at an early stage
Correction of minor malfunctions and support for major repairs, as well as pointing out irregularities to your supervisor.
Maintaining order and cleanliness of the workplace, as well as care of technical equipment, machines and systems for safety and quality reasons
Packaging and documentation of the goods according to the applicable requirements
Shift handover with focus on clear communication and a continuously running machine

Qualifications and Requirements:

Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail
Strong organizational skills
Ability to read and understand work instructions in English
Ability to safely climb ladders and perform repetitive physical tasks
Ability to walk, kneel, bend, stoop, stand, and lift up to 60 lbs
Wear company provided PPE

The base pay range for this position is $18.00 excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
