Job Description

Join a leading line pipe distributor in South Houston as a Forklift Operator on a temp-to-hire basis. In this role, you will manage and organize inventory, handle incoming shipments, and support efficient order fulfillment. You will operate heavy-duty forklifts, move and stage materials, and maintain organization throughout the pipe yard. Responsibilities:

Operate forklifts to unload trucks and move inventory throughout the yard
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by organizing materials and work areas
Assist with shipping and receiving, including preparing and verifying orders
Conduct routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance checks
Follow all safety protocols and company procedures

Qualifications and Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED required
3–5 years of experience in a pipe yard and forklift operation
Experience operating heavy industrial forklifts (25,000 lbs. capacity or more)
Valid forklift certification required
Experience handling carbon and stainless-steel pipe preferred
Ability to pass pre-employment screenings
