Saw Operator – 1st Shift

Location: Greenville, MI

Pay: $16.50 – $17.50/hr

Hours: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Job Summary

Workbox Staffing is hiring a Saw Operator for a growing manufacturer in Greenville, MI. This 1st shift position offers full training and support from the saw lead. You’ll be responsible for cutting aluminum materials to precise specifications and helping ensure on-time, high-quality production.

Key Responsibilities

Operate saws and cutting machines to cut aluminum to specified dimensions and tolerances
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders
Set up and adjust saws for optimal performance
Inspect cut materials to ensure they meet required quality standards
Maintain a clean and organized work area following all safety protocols
Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to support production goals

Qualifications

Strong understanding of machine safety procedures and best practices
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
High attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills
Able to work independently or as part of a team
Basic math skills and proficiency in using measurement tools
