Cashier and Stocker

A cashier processes customer payments, scans items, handles cash/card transactions, and provides excellent customer service.  Also, as a stocker, or inventory clerk, is responsible for receiving, unpacking, organizing, and replenishing merchandise on store shelves.

Job Type: Part-time to full-time; temp to hire

Schedule: Sunday to Saturday (7 days a week from 10am-10pm)
Need to have open/flexible availability

Pay: $20/hour

Location: Honolulu  

Parking: Available on-site

Key Responsibilities
•    Greeting customers, answering questions, providing information on procedures, and resolving complaints.
•    Scanning items, processing payments (cash, credit, mobile), and issuing receipts.
•    Balancing the cash drawer at the start and end of shifts, ensuring accuracy.
•    Following procedures for age-restricted purchases (e.g., alcohol, tobacco).
•    Unloading shipments from trucks, scanning inventory, organizing the store, and moving items to the sales floor.
•    Filling shelves and displays efficiently while ensuring correct placement and rotation of products (FIFO: First In, First Out, front-facing).
•    Keeping the checkout area, scanner, and payment terminal clean and organized.
•    Cleaning aisles, removing packing materials, and operating equipment like hand truck

Qualifications & Skills
•    Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred
•    Familiarity with POS (Point-of-Sale) systems and electronic equipment (scanners, cash registers).
•    The role is physically demanding, requiring the ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for 8+ hours. Ability to lift between 40 and 50 pounds regularly.
•    Requires wearing heavy jacket and gloves while working in the freezer
•    Strong verbal communication skills to interact with customers professionally.
