Forklift Service Technician 

Automation Personnel Services is seeking a Forklift Service Technician for a fast-growing company based in Houston, TX. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to perform maintenance, repairs, and diagnostic analysis on forklifts and other material handling equipment. Pay Rate
$20.00 - $30.00 per hour. Depending on experience  

Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 8 00 am to 5 00 pm. 

Forklift Service Technician Duties and Responsibilities
• Perform routine, emergency and preventative maintenance of forklifts 

• Interpret manufacturer's technical manuals to perform the necessary maintenance and repairs needed 

• Troubleshoot forklift problems to include brake, electrical and hydraulic systems, detect imperfections, potential problems, safety issues and/or malfunctions 

• Able to diagnose and repair mast and attachment components 

• Good working knowledge of brake systems and tire/wheel changes 

• Reassemble forklifts and make all necessary adjustments for effective and safe operation 

• Cleaning of equipment and other areas as required 

• Ensure work area and methods used in carrying out job duties meet safety requirements 

Forklift Service Technician Qualifications and Requirements
• Valid forklift operator certification or license obtained through a recognized training program
• Proficiency in operating various types of forklifts, including counterbalance, reach, and pallet jack
• Ability to understand and follow safety protocols and operating instructions to prevent accidents and injuries
• Physical strength and stamina to lift and move heavy loads safely and efficiently
• Attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination to maneuver equipment in tight spaces and navigate busy warehouse environments 

• Able to lift 50+ lbs. (Lifting Assessment will be completed in the office)
• Background and Drug test required 

• Valid Driver License, MVR will be checked
