In this role, you'll help keep operations compliant, documents accessible, and teams aligned by managing and continuously improving document control processes. You’ll support quality assurance, collaborate with IT, and champion best practices—all while ensuring a seamless user experience across departments.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and optimize the Document Management System (DMS), including document creation, classification, tracking, and secure storage.
- Collaborate with IT to manage system access, enforce security protocols, and implement revision control.
- Retrieve and distribute digital assets, supporting departments with document access and return processes.
- Facilitate document scanning, data entry, and digital archiving using imaging technology and software.
- Train staff on document control processes and ensure compliance with safety, security, and industry standards (IATF 16949).
- Prepare and maintain internal documentation, including SOPs, user manuals, and support materials.
- Support performance monitoring by analyzing KPI data, preparing reports, and contributing to internal and customer audits.
- Assist in assessing document control needs across departments and recommending system improvements.
- Conduct system testing and participate in new system rollouts or upgrades.
- Lead or support ISO/customer-driven events and additional administrative tasks.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience working with Microsoft Office and proficiency with Excel is required.
- Knowledge of document management systems, classifications, and content lifecycle is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills—written, verbal, and instructional.
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.
- Able to think critically, solve problems independently, and manage confidential information securely.
- Must pass background check and drug test.
Schedule:
- Full Time
- Willing to work weekends, holidays, and occasionally travel under short notice.
