Supplier Quality Assurance Specialist

We’re looking for a Quality Assurance Specialist to play a key role in maintaining and improving quality management processes for a leading manufacturing facility. This position focuses on enhancing supplier quality while providing expertise on production and product issues.

Responsibilities:

Evaluate and improve quality assurance processes for both suppliers and in-house operations.
Provide technical direction to suppliers and internal teams, validating quality assessments and corrective actions.
Manage supplier quality activities for new and existing products, including audits, corrective actions, and performance reviews.
Oversee defect containment, trend verification, and NG material disposition (RMA’s).
Support scrap reduction efforts and continuous process improvements.
Coordinate and review supplier documentation, including Inspection Standards, PCRs, ECRs, and ECIs.
Ensure compliance with ISO14001, IATF16949, safety regulations, and quality standards.
Prepare and maintain Management Review Meeting presentations.

Requirements:

Must be able to pass a drug screen and a background check.
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management (or related field) with 3+ years of quality experience in manufacturing.
Proficiency in PPAP requirements, root cause analysis, and data reporting (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to work hands-on in a manufacturing environment.
Experience in cross-cultural work settings and automotive quality engineering is a plus.

Pay Rate:

$82,000 - $85,000/Annually
Depending upon experience
