About This Position:
As a Human Resources Coordinator for Craftsmen Resources, you will employ critical thinking, detail, and organization skills to daily tasks each day. Your work schedule will be Monday – Friday, 08:00a-5:00p, although overtime may be necessary at times. As a HR/Payroll employee, you may be tasked with the following:
Answer phones as front desk reception when needed.
Source and Screen Candidates from Job Ads and candidate or employee lists.
Audit candidate and employee HR documentation.
Complete I-9 Employer Section for new employees.
Update and Organize employee information and records.
Prepare and update reports relating to personnel activities.
Schedule and Coordinate Safety Training for employees.
Respond to employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations.
Assist with day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties.
Ensure pre-employment reference documents including reference checks, background checks, and drug screens as necessary according to company practices.
Manage Client Credit Process: audit new client paperwork, acquire credit reference information, approve or deny accounts, update client records accordingly.
Provide clerical and administrative support to Human Resources Manager and Company Ownership.
All other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Must have at least 2 years of human resources experience.
2 years of HIRS software experience.
Must have Associates or Bachelor’s degree.
Possess good reasoning, communication, problem solving, and leadership skills.
Proficient use of computers and Microsoft programs such as Outlook, Word, and excel.
Must possess a valid driver’s license.
Must be able to pass a drug screen test and background check.
