Job Store Staffing is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable & Grants Administrator for a fully remote contract opportunity supporting a Grants Department focused on federal funding and compliance. This Accounts Payable & Grants Administrator position is ideal for candidates with strong AP experience and a background in grant processing, financial reconciliation, and federal funding regulations. Candidates must be local to the Denver area to collect and return the computer equipment.

Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable & Grants Administrator:

Manage the accounts payable process for federally funded grants
Review, verify, and process grant awards and payment requests
Ensure funding is accurately mapped to vendor codes, commodity lines, and account numbers
Reconcile invoices, grant trackers, and supporting documentation for accuracy
Monitor shared inboxes and process vendor/grantee invoices in document management systems
Support monthly reconciliations, fiscal year-end activities, and reporting
Collaborate cross-functionally with Grants Managers, AP teams, Controllers, and Program teams
Maintain compliance with federal grant regulations and documentation standards

Qualifications:

Previous experience in Accounts Payable and grant processing required
Strong understanding of federal grant regulations, including 2 CFR 200
Experience with ERP systems, Salesforce, and document management platforms preferred
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
