Maintenance Electrician Our growing company is looking to fill the role of maintenance electrician.

Responsibilities for maintenance electrician • Repair electrical systems and equipment by diagnosing malfunctioning apparatus, such as transformers, motors and lighting fixtures Repairs and maintains food service equipment including dishwashers and refrigeration units.
• Perform mechanical maintenance on electrical such as lubes on systems, replacing bearings as needed and other miscellaneous mechanical functions required of the electrical system
• Perform emergency troubleshooting, repair and preventative maintenance on various process physical measuring systems such as pressure flow, temperature and other miscellaneous functions of physical measurement systems.
• Perform emergency troubleshooting, repair and preventative maintenance on high voltage switch gear, cables and transformers • Install conduit and wiring to facilitate new equipment.
• Adjust, troubleshoot and maintain specialized electrical conduit as precipitators, voltage controls, DC motor voltage control and variable AC controllers
• Monitor plant HVAC system and other environmental controls
• Assist the Electrical Coordinator with the development of job standards and pre-maintenance procedures
• Maintains light and power circuits, elevators, controls, electric motors of various sizes and types, lighting fixtures, transformers, communications systems, standby battery power circuits and equipment, making repairs as necessary
• Tests as necessary for short circuits, grounds, and other electrical disorders and take corrective measures as indicated
• Installs new circuits and equipment • Installs conduits, wires, cables, pull boxes, transformers, switches and other related equipment required in making additions, extensions, or alterations in electrical systems, or in new construction, if permitted
• Perform testing, installation, and repair of electrical systems and components
• Responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining all electrical systems on the property, general building maintenance and upkeep.
• Obtains bids and manages service agreements for additional maintenance and ensures adherence to specifications

• Ability in reading and writing electrical schematics and ladder logic diagrams
• Ability to use limited technical data and instruction to perform above work described
• Industrial Journeyman State certification OR formal four years electrical apprenticeship
• Abiding by NFP 70E Arc flash regulations
• 3-5 years proven industrial electrician experience in a fast-paced lean manufacturing environment required
