Paint and Body Technician Wanted - East SA

Responsibilities:

Prepare, prime, and paint trailers using a variety of painting guns and equipment.
Read and follow written and verbal instructions to complete paint and body repair tasks correctly and safely.
Work with different types of paint and apply proper safety protocols, including mixing, handling, and storage.
Perform repairs and prep work above shoulder height as well as overhead.
Crawl underneath trailers and perform tasks on your knees as needed for full unit preparation.
Climb ladders and work on scaffolding when required to reach high surfaces.
Wash and prep trailers using a washing wand to ensure clean surfaces for paint and decal application.
Apply decals with precision using a smoothing brush to ensure a clean and professional finish.

Requirements:

Hands-on experience in paint & body work, ideally within a trucking, automotive, or equipment repair environment required.
Comfortable with physically demanding work, including climbing, kneeling, crawling, and working at elevated heights.
Working knowledge of different types of painting guns, paint products, and shop safety practices.
Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions with accuracy.
Must be able to pass background check and drug test.

Schedule:

Monday – Friday
7 AM to 5 PM

Pay Rate:

$18 - $20/Hourly
