Currently looking for skilled individuals to fill a Direct Hire Materials Associate opening with a company located in Hamel, MN. Interested candidates should preferably have related material handling experience in a manufacturing environment and Microsoft Office knowledge.

Materials Associate Job Description

Pick parts for assembly cells
Maintain and stock inventory consistent with company policies and procedures.
Communicate/respond on material movement to and from both production areas and outside locations
Accurately document material movement within the inventory system

Materials Associate Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required
1 year of related receiving, materials/parts picking or shipping experience in a manufacturing environment
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with company personnel and others
Intermediate computer skills, including knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office
Ability to work accurately with numbers and instructions
Ability to work individually or as a team
Desire to learn new tasks and grow on the job

Compensation for the Materials Associate

The starting pay rate for this position is $20 to $22 per hour (DOQ) plus a sign on bonus and benefits (Medical Insurance, Dental Insurance, Disability Insurance, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, Company Sponsored Profit Sharing, 401K Plan, Annual Bonus, Tuition Reimbursement)
