Summary:
The Production Lead is a vital member of our team, responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of production equipment in our Certified Food Facility. With a focus on quality and efficiency, the Production Lead ensures that production goals are met while maintaining the highest standards of product quality and safety. This position requires leadership skills, technical expertise, and a commitment to excellence.
Pay: $26/hr
Shift: Rotating 12 hour nights
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure quality control of the material produced.
- Close Production Reports (PROs) and other necessary paperwork.
- Relieve operators for breaks and enforce break schedules.
- Interpret Work Orders and implement instructions accordingly.
- Meet or exceed daily production goals set by supervisors.
- Identify and troubleshoot mechanical problems, reporting them to the Maintenance Department.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following sanitation protocols.
- Complete all required paperwork, checklists, and preventative maintenance tasks.
- Assist with training other operators and technicians.
- Lead a crew of assemblers as needed.
- Serve as the point of contact for the shift, delegating tasks and escalating issues as necessary.
- Comply with all food manufacturing and facility safety requirements.
