Event Crew – Setup & Breakdown
Job Description:
We are hiring a hardworking and reliable crew to assist with setting up and dismantling for a large-scale catering event. This is a physically demanding, temporary role that requires stamina, attention to detail, and a team-oriented attitude.
Location: Downtown Montreal
Duration: 2 Weeks
Pay: $22.00 / hour
Shifts: 12-hour shifts - Monday - Sunday (8:00 am - 8:00 pm)
Event Dates: June 3rd to June 19th
Responsibilities:
Assemble and disassemble cold food stations and cooling units.
Load and unload heavy equipment and materials.
Follow safety procedures and team instructions.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
Requirements:
Able to lift and move very heavy equipment (50+ lbs repeatedly).
Experience with power tools
Comfortable working 12-hour shifts, on your feet for extended periods.
Punctual, dependable, and a team player.
Prior event setup or catering support experience is a plus but not required.
