CNC Lathe Machinist (program edit/ setup/ operation)

Pay rate: $27-30/hr

1st shift: 6am - 3/4pm

2nd shift: 5:30pm - 2/2:30am (10% shift prem.)

Monday to Friday, based on OT

Duties:

The production department is responsible for running production on few machines.

CNc Lathe Machinist opening for the Component dept (short-run) machining as well

Adept at machine set-ups, simple EDIT to program and operate Fanuc controlled cnc lathes
Read and interpret prints
Read measuring gages
Operate CNC Lathe per leader's instructions
Replace tool inserts when required
Measure parts to maintain conformance
Perform routine machine maintenance

Required

Min 4-5 years running cnc lathe machine
Fanuc control knowledge
Ability to read gages, prints, and possibly work in metric

OT available based on workload, up to 50 hrs. Occasionally half day on Saturday

Permanent job - 90 days contract to direct hire
