With a digital-first, trend-reactive approach, they’re recognized as one of the fastest-growing fashion brands for the Gen Z market. Now expanding their LA team, they are seeking a Senior Fashion Designer to join their high-energy and innovative studio.
About the Role:
The Senior Fashion Designer will lead the design process for monthly women’s apparel collections, from concept through final sample production. You’ll oversee the development team, collaborate with overseas manufacturers, and ensure the brand stays ahead of emerging trends across all key platforms. Reports to: Director of Design and Merchandising
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the in-house development team and design process from concept through final styling.
- Design and develop new fashion collections, ensuring relevance to brand DNA and current market trends.
- Create original graphic designs for garments and support branding initiatives.
- Produce detailed production sketches and development tech packs for sample and bulk manufacturing.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with manufacturers during the development and production phases.
- Prepare technical specifications to guide the production team and vendors.
- Participate in sample reviews to evaluate products for style, fit, and overall aesthetic.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or college degree in Fashion Design – Required
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience working with commercial fashion brands – Required
- High proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office – Required
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Availability to travel internationally if needed
- Experience in graphic design – Preferred
Compensation:
$100,000 – $150,000 DOE + benefits
