Position Overview: The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for assembling machines and systems to meet customer specifications and requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble machines and systems from drawings and verbal instructions.
- Record changes to machine parts and assemblies on engineering drawings using established procedures.
- Follow machine diagrams
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or trade school certification.
- Knowledge of basic machine assembly.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Familiarity with hand tools (e.g., wrenches, pliers, power drills
Job Specifications:
- Physical activity includes standing, walking, pushing, pulling, reaching overhead, and bending.
- Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds; frequently exert up to 10 pounds of force.
- Manufacturing environment with exposure to high noise levels and physical hazards, including moving mechanical parts and electrical currents.
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) for extended periods.
Salary: $20-24/hr
