Our client in Edison NJ is looking for a Warehouse Clerk to become a vital part of their logistics and distribution operations! Duties

• Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders using RF scanners and order pickers to ensure timely delivery
• Operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently to load and unload shipments
• Manage stock levels by stocking shelves, replenishing inventory, and conducting regular stock checks using warehouse management systems (WMS) and AS400 platforms
• Assist with shipping & receiving activities by verifying inbound and outbound shipments against shipping documents
• Utilize warehouse distribution techniques to optimize space and streamline order fulfillment processes for e-commerce and retail clients
• Support packaging operations ensuring products are securely packed for shipment while adhering to quality standards
• Maintain accurate records of inventory movements, shipments, and stock levels in accordance with company policies

Experience

• Prior experience working in a warehouse environment is highly preferred, especially with order picking, packing, and inventory management
• Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, and AS400 is advantageous for efficient workflow
• Hands-on experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, or similar equipment; forklift certification is a plus
• Familiarity with shipping & receiving procedures, order fulfillment processes, and stock replenishment techniques
• Basic math skills for counting inventory accurately and processing orders effectively
• Knowledge of e-commerce logistics and warehouse distribution strategies is beneficial
• Strong attention to detail combined with the ability to work quickly in a fast-paced setting ensures accuracy in order picking & packing
