Pay: $19.22 per hour
Shift differential pay is applied during training

Schedule

Training Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Day shift positions typically pay $17.22 per hour; however, shift differential pay is paid during training
Regular Shift After Training: Monday–Thursday, 4:30 p.m. to 3:00 a.m.
Overtime as required

Penmac Staffing is hiring a Machine Operator for a local manufacturing facility. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity with long-term potential for dependable individuals who are interested in learning new skills and building a career in manufacturing.

Machine Operator Responsibilities

Set up, operate, load, and unload production machinery according to specifications
Monitor machine operations to ensure quality standards are met
Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections using micrometers, calipers, and tape measures
Read and interpret blueprints, including geometric dimensioning
Accurately enter production data and transactions into company systems
Follow all safety policies and maintain a clean, organized work area
Complete other duties as assigned

Requirements for the Machine Operator

Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
Intermediate shop math skills
Basic computer and data entry skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs using team lift or lifting devices as needed
Ability to stand, walk, stoop, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift
Must be willing to submit to required pre-employment screenings

Work Environment

This Machine Operator position is in a manufacturing facility with exposure to noise, dust, and heavy machinery. Safety procedures and required personal protective equipment must be followed at all times.
