Administrative Assistant – Auto Auction Operations
Schedule: Monday–Friday, generally 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (earlier start times on auction days)
Location: Belton, MO, with one day per week in North Kansas City
Employment Type: Full-Time
Penmac Staffing is hiring an Administrative Assistant to support a busy auto auction operations team. This Administrative Assistant role offers a mix of office work and hands-on support during live auction events, making it ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced, active work environment.Requirements for the Administrative Assistant
- Previous experience in administrative support, customer service, or operations preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Comfortable working in both office and auction/warehouse environments
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer systems
- Reliable transportation with the ability to travel between locations
- Dependable attendance and flexibility for early morning auction schedules
- Must be willing to submit to a criminal background check
Administrative Assistant Responsibilities
- Check in drivers and auction participants upon arrival
- Assist with vehicle documentation and driver paperwork
- Support the General Manager with administrative and operational tasks
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and auction-related paperwork
- Coordinate communication between drivers, customers, and internal teams
- Assist with auction day logistics and daily operations
- Provide support in both the office and on the auction floor
Pay
This Administrative Assistant position offers more than a traditional office role. You will play a key part in live auction operations while gaining valuable experience in both administrative and operational functions.
